Unicorn Nursery Maesbury is based in a former Primary School. Our setting follows the curiosity approach, welcoming children from 6 weeks up to school age following EYFS and family routines. There is lots of open outdoor spaces and fresh homecooked meals. Our aim is to provide a caring, safe, environment with a strong educational focus giving your child a great start in life. Local offer: Our setting has a SEND policy in place, which is in line with the Shropshire Council Local Offer. It is our intention to provide an environment in which all children are supported to reach their full potential. We have regard for the Department for Education’s Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) code of practice 2014 and the Equality Act 2010. We provide an inclusive environment, where all are treated as individuals. All of our practitioners are knowledgeable of SEND identification and support, and have experience of supporting children with SEND throughout each stage of their journey at nursery. We have a qualified SENCO, have supported many children with and without EHCP’s and follow the graduated approach. We have excellent facilities for supporting all of our children, both indoors and outdoors.
