Chirbury Primary School offers a breakfast club Monday to Friday from 7.45am, children are offered a healthy breakfast of cereals, toast, fruit and juice or milk. They also offer after school clubs Monday to Friday until 4.20pm. Chirbury Primary School’s nursery Busy Bees is open Monday to Friday from 9am till 3.15pm, with a breakfast club for those who need it, which is open from 7:45am. They welcome all children aged 2 to 4 years. Busy Bees is a fully funded, integrated part of the school and we have many opportunities to be with older children and other teachers in preparation for school. We spend each lunchtime with the whole school where hot dinners can be provided. Our small and friendly nursery aims to provide a happy, stimulating environment for children to learn through play. All children will experience a wealth of activities and opportunities through which they will grow socially, intellectually, physically and emotionally. During their time with us, children will become independent; learn to share and negotiate; play co-operatively with others; observe and make predictions; learn to control tools; make decisions and solve problems; and begin to develop early numeracy and literacy skills.
