Prisoners Abroad is a UK registered charity providing information, advice and support to British citizens imprisoned overseas. They work with their families and offer a freephone helpline to provide information and emotional support to anyone affected by the imprisonment of a loved one in a foreign country. Prisoners Abroad offers a Resettlement Service which provides a range of advice and support once people have been returned to the UK to assist them in building crime-free lives. Prisoners Abroad makes no moral judgment about its clients; they help convicted and unconvicted, guilty or innocent, solely on the basis of need.
