Ludlow Golf Club, founded in 1889 is the oldest course in the Union of Shropshire and Herefordshire and still retains many of its original features as well as a new driving range. Based on sand and gravel, the James Braid designed heathland course is often described as an inland links, and is one of, if not the driest course in the Midlands. The Club also has a six bay driving range, and lessons for both adults and children are available from their PGA professional staff. There is also a clubhouse serving a wide selection of homemade refreshments.
