A4U provides free independent and impartial information, advice, legal advice and advocacy on all aspects of disability issues, including benefits advice, for people with disabilities, their families, carers and health and social care providers. The Adviceline uses an answer machine which is always available. They do respond to every answerphone message, even if just a number is left, and will call back within 7 days; often much sooner, depending on the urgency of your enquiry.
