Worfield Endowed CE Primary School is situated just off the picturesque main street of half-timbered houses and old cottages, leading to the 12th century church and the Tudor manor house within Worfield. Worfield is a small and friendly school where the teachers know the children. We ensure everyday is a learning experience through our rich, varied and vibrant curriculum. Worfield offer wrap around care. Breakfast club starts at 7.45am, where breakfast is served between 8:00 and 8:30 and children are taken to classrooms for the start of there school day. After-school wrap around care operates from the end of the school day at 15:30 until 17:45. Children will be offered a healthy snack on arrival and those children attending the second session will be provided with a light supper at around 5pm. To apply for a place for your child in either the Before School Care or After School Care or both, please download the application form on our school website and then return to the School office, either by email admin@worfield.shropshire.sch.uk or in person. Worfield has a dedicated Early Years Unit which offers a school based education from the age of 3 years. The Early Years unit is located within the school building and is staffed by two qualified, experienced teachers, both of whom have specialised training within the Early Years. We offer a play based secure environment where Nursery and Reception aged children are totally integrated and where children who remain with us from Nursery to Reception will not have to experience another move until the start of Year 1. The EYFS curriculum ensures that children have time both indoors and out during the school day. Every child is unique and children arrive in school at very different stages in their development. By working alongside parents we carefully track the development of each individual child and grow their abilities and potential as fully as possible in a fun and engaging way. We aim to develop thoughtful and responsible young people with high self esteem and the skills and knowledge to succeed in life.
