Grove School and Sixth Form is a secondary and further education establishment at the centre of the community in Market Drayton and surrounding areas. They are part of the Marches Multi-Academy Trust and are committed to providing our students with the skills and experiences that are required for life. It is an open access comprehensive school. The Schools vision of ‘a mind set to succeed’ is the foundation of all they do where a ‘can do’ attitude is constantly encouraged. The students develop high aspirations, achieve success and are well prepared for future study and the world of work. The school day is 8:40am and finishing at 3:00pm. They have a thorough extra curricular programme which invites students to take part in a range of activities during and after the school day. Details of the clubs on offer can be found here. In the Sixth Form they provide an exceptionally high standard of education, strong pastoral networks, and a full range of enrichment activities, in an independent and supportive learning environment. Many of their sixth form students go on to study at the top universities. The students develop strong, working relationships with teachers and the Sixth Form is about meeting their needs, through the provision of post-16 education, in an environment where they have already achieved. At Grove Sixth Form students can opt to study a combination of both A levels and Cambridge Technicals. The Grove Sixth Form is also open to external candidates aswell as current students who meet the entry requirements.
