Child Bereavement UK believes that all families should have access to the support and information they need when a child grieves or when a child dies. Through understanding their grieving process and receiving help in dealing with bereavement from appropriately trained professionals, families can learn to live with their grief and begin rebuilding their lives. Child Bereavement UK offer: They provide confidential support, information and guidance to families and professionals. Their Helpline team is available to take calls and respond to emails and Live Chat via the website, 9am-5pm Monday-Friday. Support groups for adults, children and young people where individuals can meet others who have also been bereaved. Face-to-face support f or individuals, couples, children, young people, and families Support is available to self-referrals and third part referrals, please note that third party referrals have to have the permission of the individual to refer them to the service.
