Home Educators! Join us on the first Friday of the month for exciting, hands on history, science and art workshops led by our team of experienced educators. Workshops are aimed at 5-11 year olds. Book Fire of London, Friday 5th Dec Book Meet the Romans, Friday 9 January 2026 Book Discovering Darwin, Friday 6 February 2026 Book Anglo Saxons, Friday 6 March 2026 Book Painting Portraits, Friday 1 May 2026 Book Investigating Evolution, Friday 5 June 2026 Book Vikings, Friday 3 July 2026 Book Summer Arts Trail Workshop, Friday 7 August 2026 All workshops start at 10.30am prompt and finish at 12.00. Please arrive 15 mins before the workshop begins to ensure a prompt start for the educator leading the session. The workshops will take place in the Education Room on the second floor of the museum and there will be opportunities to explore the galleries during the workshop. Each workshop comes with a suggested age range, this is a guide only and is at your discretion. The workshop will only go ahead if there are a minimum of 12 bookings.
