Home Essentials (Shrewsbury Furniture Scheme), collects donated furniture, household goods and electrical items and recycles them for reuse at affordable prices, to people in need. All items are collected and delivered free of charge to customers within the Shrewsbury and Atcham area. Shropshire’s five furniture recycling schemes have joined forces in a partnership aimed at increasing efficiency, SHOFUR – Shropshire Household Furniture Recycling Partnership. Each scheme will continue to work in their areas. As a partnership they are working to find better ways to deal with household items which are no longer required by Shropshire householders.
