They work with and for older people to improve the quality of later life by:providing older people with information & advice to enable them to make choices;providing services to help older people remain independent;campaigning with and for older people, both locally and nationally.Age UK Shropshire Telford & Wrekin offer lots of services for older people and their carers, including free information and advice, day care, dementia support, exercise and physical activities, home help, IT training, social activities and visiting and befriending. They currently have over 400 volunteers who are involved in the delivery of their services, from befriending to running day centres and new volunteers are always welcome.
