NHS Future Fit is about meeting health needs for everyone living and working in Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin and mid Wales. The NHS Future Fit programme will focus on the hospital services provided by Shrewsbury & Telford Hospitals NHS Trust and Shropshire Community Health NHS Trust. Local patients, doctors, nurses and other health professionals are all working together to improve care at local hospitals using the latest medicines and technologies that will last for many years. To start this journey they are looking in detail at how services are currently used and comparing that with the best clinical practice, as identified by clinical colleagues working with patient representatives. The programme is led by a Programme Board, which will oversee plans and proposals for improving acute and community hospital services in Shropshire.
