Norton-in-Hales Cricket Club is based at Norton-in-Hales community playing field. The Cricket Club was first established in the late 1920’s and moved to its current location following the Second World War. League cricket was first played at Norton-in-Hales in the 1970’s when the Club joined the South Cheshire Alliance League. In the mid-1990s the reorganisation of local cricket in line with ECB policy led to the demise of the Alliance League and Norton-in-Hales then joined the North Staffs and District League. In recent years, as well as senior teams, Norton-in-Hales Cricket Club has run junior cricket teams at various age-levels. For the coming season the club will field a junior team for the under-18 age group. New members, young or old, are always encouraged at the club.
