I am an Ofsted Registered Childminder who provides a home from home stimulating environment for children in the early year’s age group. I am able to offer a range of activities whilst providing consistent care. The children are able to benefit from one-to-one care whilst enjoying healthy, home cooked family meals. I live on the outskirts of Whitchurch in a rural location with easy access to the town and its amenities. My mission statement is to work together in partnership with parents to provide all children in my care with a clean, safe, loving, home-like environment where everyone feels valued. Where standards are high, independence can be developed and where there is a wealth of learning opportunities, both structured and flexible, to help children to achieve their goals and promote their self-esteem. Respect towards self, others and the environment will always be emphasised. The setting is based in a private house and therefore may not be suitable for children with certain additional needs or disabilities, while we will endeavour to accommodate each individual child’s needs this may not be practical or possible.
