Shrewsbury Food Hub supports 15 Foodshares every week in locations across the town, by collecting and distributing surplus food from supermarkets and other food businesses. Everyone is welcome to collect a few bags of food to help stop food waste and stretch people’s budgets. These Foodshares are run on a ‘pay as you feel’ basis, but people are encouraged to make a donation, if they can, and don’t forget to take your own bag. A Foodshare takes place at the Church of the Holy Spirit each Wednesday morning, from 9.30am to 11am.
