Ludlow Quilters & Stitchers are a group of between 20 and 30 active members, who enjoy the opportunity to learn more about the techniques and heritage of quiltmaking and to appreciate its art. Members also embrace all forms of stitching with varied interests from traditional hand stitching, free machine embroidery, felting and mixed media. Whether you are a beginner or have years of experience, you are most welcome to come and visit, or join this friendly, enthusiastic group. The group meets at St Peter’s Parish Centre on the fourth Tuesday of each month, from 7pm (for refreshments), for a 7.30pm start, with the exception of August and December. New members of any age are always most welcome, and the group is particularly keen to encourage younger members to join in. Activities usually include speakers, demonstrations, quilt making for good causes, personal project sessions, and occasionally an exhibition of their work. Any form of stitch work can play an important role in maintaining mental wellbeing. For more information, please follow the link to visit their website, or use the contact details provided.
