Minsterley School is a successful and happy village primary school founded by the Marquess of Bath in 1843. The school is a medium size community school in the beautiful South Shropshire countryside serving the busy and thriving village of Minsterley. Our links with many organisations and other local schools ensures that the children are in a welcoming and friendly atmosphere throughout their time with us. We strive to provide outstanding teaching and learning to enable all our pupils to achieve their best. We offer an exciting curriculum that seeks to give learning real purpose and which is broad enough to nurture every individual’s interests and talents. As a result our pupils are engaged, enthusiastic and proud of their school. Our staff are friendly, skilled, enthusiastic and committed to meeting the needs of each individual. Our school grounds have been developed to provide exciting and varied opportunities for learning outside the classroom and all children benefit from our Forest School activities. We have a tradition of providing a wide range of opportunities in music and sport and a reputation for being a happy place to work and learn. The school offers wraparound care for families with an afternoon childcare facility which runs from 3.15pm-4pm. A light snack will be given to the children attending at 3.45pm each day.
