Oswestry Rotary Club, the oldest Rotary Club in Oswestry, was granted its charter on 7 August 1929 and is committed to serving the local community by raising money for projects and charities and using their members’ skills to help others. They support local primary schools with their LifeLine and Rotakids projects and secondary schools with their mock interview and Youth Speaks projects plus initiatives further afield. The Club administers the Mary Hignett Bequest Fund for the benefit of local sports and art projects (please follow the related link below for more information). From April 2022, the Club meets at the Wynnstay Hotel every Monday evening at 5.30pm for a 6pm start (except Bank Holidays), and meetings will include a speaker and optional meal.
