A considered and quiet Chess Club, designed with thought and care, to provide an environment for autistic people who would like to have a quiet game of chess with no pressure or expectation, and to help with socialising and building relationships.Sessions take place at the Unison Social Club each Tuesday evening from 6pm to 7.30pm, and the environment has been designed to make the experience both rewarding and supportive. Children may attend if accompanied by a responsible adult, and beginners are most welcome, as free tuition is available if required, from an experienced player with training in understanding autism. For more information, please contact using the details provided, or pop along to one of the sessions.
