Taking Part supports children and young people with SEND and their families in this way through their fortnightly activity sessions. These sessions are called “Moving and Grooving”. The activities during Moving and Grooving sessions are wide ranging and varied, from visual arts, ball games, music workshops to natured themed play. Sessions happen two Saturday’s a month at Mereside Community Centre, Shrewsbury, SY2 6LH. Sessions run from 10:30am – 12:30pm, please contact the provider for the specific dates of sessions. The team work in a flexible, child led way. Sessions are designed to provide a supportive and engaging environment that allows participants to enjoy themselves and join in as it suits them best. Parent Carers are welcomed to join their private Facebook Group where you can connect with and support each other, engage, and where all can share resources and more.
