Theatre on the Steps in Bridgnorth is open all year round and puts on a varied programme of both professional and amateur music, drama and entertainment. The Theatre has its own Saturday morning stage school, Youth on the Steps, for young people aged seven to 17 years and provides tuition in singing, dancing and acting. Students are entered into drama examinations and take part in productions at the theatre each year. There are over 200 members of the Theatre who help by taking part in productions, scenery construction, lighting and sound, stage management, managing and running the front of house and the bar.
