The Clwyd-Powys Archaeological Trust is one of four Welsh Archaeological Trusts working closely with other national, regional and local bodies to help protect, record and interpret all aspects of the historic environment of Wales. Its core geographical area embraces the modern Welsh counties of Powys, Denbighshire, Flintshire, Wrexham and Conwy, although it sometimes also carries out projects in adjacent Welsh counties and across the border in England.
