The Adamson Trust provide assistance with the cost of holidays and/or respite breaks for young people aged 17 and under a physical, mental or emotional disability. Under the rules of the Trust, the Trustees need to be certain that the request is only for children aged 17 and under with disabilities. Thus the application form asks for medical evidence for the child, and also about the planned holiday. It is essential that this is provided for this purpose of the application being considered. Applications on behalf of groups, organisations or other registered charities will be considered on receipt of a completed application form and a copy of the last audited account. Applications for grants will be considered by the Trustees in February, May, August and November in each year and preference will be given to requests on behalf of Scottish children. The closing dates for applications for the above meetings are: 31 December, 31 March, 31 July and 30 September respectively. All communications with the Trust should be in writing.
