The Ataru Shotokan Karate Club is a martial arts club specialising in the practice of traditional Shotokan Karate. The Club provides teaching and training of Shotokan Karate for males and females of all ages from seven years upwards. Classes are held at the Festival Drayton Centre each Tuesday evening from 6.30pm to 8pm, and each Sunday evening from 6pm to 7.30pm. The Club itself is affiliated to the Karate Union of Great Britain (KUGB) which was the first Shotokan style association to be formed in the UK back in the 1960’s.
